Butch Ball lives in the blue ridge mountains in the town of Floyd, VA. He has always had a fascination with knives, and began to build them in 1990 when he worked in a machine shop in Florida. He built a shop when he moved to VA, and started to build knives again in 2001. Butch builds many different types of custom knives such as folders, fixed blade, and the occasional automatics. He loves the ivory and Damascus combination for the beauty of it. Butch also uses pearls and abalone on collectables. He builds gentlemen folders and tactical knives, and flippers as well as EDC folders. His fixed blades range from bowies to fighters to hunters and skinners to fillet knives. Many of his knives are one offs, but occasionally he will do a limited run of a knife. All Ball knives are guaranteed for as long as Butch is able to repair them. Due to the nature of the natural handle materials he cannot warranty them, but will repair or replace for a reasonable charge. All shipping for repairs will be paid by owner.
